101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) ON ALERT!

The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell,
Kentucky, was
placed on alert today.
The dispatch came from an associate of mine I knew during my
2 years in the
5th Special Forces Group, who is stationed at Fort Campbell,
with ties
(still) to our "home" base, Ft. Bragg.
It would be interesting to know the Military's reasoning for
this drastic
move. Information also indicates that the 82nd Airborne
Division has also
been placed on alert. I'm being told that the (reason) for
this is the
possible use of U.S. Troops against U.S. citizens either in
the coming
attack
against the Patriot/Milita communities (reported to be on
8/4/99) in which
they would be used either as backup troops to the UN/NATO
forces already in
position, or as "Peacekeeping" troops for the entire Western
region where
these attacks will take place, keeping the remainder of the
American
populace
restrainted and under control.
Another reason I've been given is the same "Peacekeeping"
roll for the
entire
country after the "Nuking" of the East and West coasts by
the Russians
(reported to be sometime between (9/9 - 9/14), keeping the
remainder of the
American populace under control, under martial law.
