If anyone feels they've received abusive email, they should forward such
email, with full headers attached, to the ISP of the one sending the
abusive email....
Some ISPs have an 'abuse' email address (e.g., one would send email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] an example, [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED],
[EMAIL PROTECTED], etc.)...
ALL ISPs have a 'postmaster' account (e.g., [EMAIL PROTECTED],
[EMAIL PROTECTED])...
In other words, send the sample of the abusive email to both 'postmaster'
and 'abuse' at the abuser's ISP, making sure that full headers are
attached (else they'll ignore the complaint), with a politely worded
complaint.
Do not, repeat, DO NOT SEND PRIVATE EMAIL TO A PUBLIC MAIL LIST.
Bad form. Violates netiquette. Which will probably get YOU flamed.
Take care of your problems yourself, don't seek to drag the rest of us
into it.
