Hello Newshawk,
This is in response to the Banned Books Week and a post in which one of
your recipients mentioned, Per Sew�n who owns the Illuminati News
website was mentioned. In Virginia McCullough's post she spoke of
libraries disappearing--how true! Additionally, I find that many public
libraries suppress information by simply not stocking alternative books
and magazines.
I've been wanting to share this shareware program with you all. It is
known as a "robot" or a "web-spider". With this product, one can save
the files to their ZIP or Hard Drive and read the files in their
Netscape or Explorer (and keep their phone lines free) browsers without
having to go online. (Bill Cooper would have appreciated that someone
had mirrored his website with this. It makes an exact duplicate,
including all graphic files and animated GIF's) What it does is download
all of the files starting with a designated file pathway (you choose).
The particular product that I'm talking about is called Teleport Pro and
is for PC's only (although there exists similar products for Mac's, just
do a search for Mac robot, or Mac web-spider).

Since it is a shareware program, you can use it up to 40 times and it
only goes up to 500 files. Teleport Pro for purchase has an unlimited
amount of files specified to save.)

Follow the instructions and make a file folder that goes to a fairly
large drive (bigger than a:\drive). Persewen has set all of his file
structures to start with.
So, if you want to download the books:
1. make a file folder on a large drive, i.e. "con_book
2. go to: http://mercury.spaceports.com/~persewen/books_for_free.htm
(If you just want one book, go to the hyperlink of the index of that
book that you want to start with. Then, separately do a save
http://mercury.spaceports.com/~persewen/books_for_free.htm
so that you'll have a link to the index.)
4. Maybe most important--I didn't have any luck using the wizard.
So, select Start, Programs, Teleport Pro, Project (menu), New Starting
address. Then insert the starting address (either
http://mercury.spaceports.com/~persewen/books_for_free.htm
or the URL of the book's index that you want.)
On his site you'll get more than one book for one session because of the
way he names his files and because Teleport Pro saves up to 500 files.
