Sutton and Goat are right about non-violence. Non-violence does not mean
passivity. It does not mean that you don't use force either. It means that
you don't use violent force.
Here are some suggestions to work with. The current national political and
economic systems are very complex. The intended global and economic systems
are even more complex. The more complex the system, the easier it will break
down. This is what makes them dangerous to societies in general ( just look
at Indonesia and the Asian meltdown ), and susceptible to disruption.
-Find the locus where it's EASY for ordinary people to have a big effect.
So for example, if the political system is corrupt and no longer responsive,
what are your options? You can't kill the politicians. You can't stop them
from taking money from their rich corrupters. You can't kill the big donors.
The only thing that you can actually DO, is not participate in the process
at all. This system of politics allows them to be a dictatorship without
looking like a dictatorship. They only LOOK like a democracy because you
vote. If a vast majority of people refuse to vote, the charade is over.
In the past few elections less than 48% of eligible voters have been voting.
Get it down to 30% or lower, and you will have a non violent revolution.
-The easier the action, the more likely many people will participate in it.
For example- using the scenario above, all the individual needs to do is
not vote.
-Mass participation requires a POWERFUL emotional motivator.
-The less risk the more likely people will participate.
-The more DIRECT benefit for the individual, the more likely people will
participate.
-The more people you have to organize, the less chance you have of succeeding.
[ This is something every politician knows and plays to when he/she must make
an unpopular decision that a corporate boss wants.] This is why the Left
almost always fails.
LOCI TO FOCUS ON:
Taxes, taxes, taxes.
The Media use the Public Airwaves. WE own those airwaves
County and State Officials allow Corporations to exist in their jurisdictions.
Even though they are often as corrupt as politicians at the national level
citizens have more clout at these levels because fewer people need be
organized to form pressure groups.
Spreading the word. - Face to face. Internet, internet, internet.
Targeting any Business, Organization, or Institution that is dependent on
public opinion for making a profit.
