-Caveat Lector-

[This was originally posted to THIS LIST several years ago. I dug
it out a week or so ago while playing in my old computer's
C:\Archives\text\religion\evil\OTO section:) What's more, it is
some of the very few REAL DEAL on this topic that I have EVER
gleaned from the net...i.e., I have since confirmed this via ex
and current PRACTITIONERS! --MS]

(continued from Pt 1)

Performed as those of Carthage and of Tyre.

Passion made Eternal redeemeth all the World,
So savour thou the Saviour of the Dance,
Descend O Purple Dove, on golden wings unfurled,
And rape me with thine all-consuming glance.

          [invoca] Eko Aset! Eko Ashtar!
                    Eko Aphrodite!
                    Eko Astarte! Eko Ashtoreth!
                    Eko, Eko BABALON!

Oratiuncula -

Hail O Mighty Goddess! Wilt thou accept me as thy Priest and
Shrine?

Come then upon me and bestow thy sacred ravishments upon this,
thy faithful servant. Accept me as a sacrifice unto thine
Eternal Beauty

I am THINE! Yea, EVER THINE!

COLLOQUIUM:

[Thou shalt again be seated upon thy throne in the presence of
thy Sister. Assumeth thou the counternance of Asar whom embraceth
his sister Ast with the attitude of confidence and trust. Be thou
at peace and joyous!]

Carmen - [roga] Erta na hekau!
                    Erta na hekau!
                    Erta na hekau!

[May I be given the Words of Power of Isis]

[dice] O my Sister, thou hast made me happy with thy presence,
          To know that thou art with me in this cold and lonely world;
'Tis a greater treasure thou hast brought unto my Soul,
Than all the Pharaoh's wealth in gold and precious stones.

For thy laughter fills the world like a diadem of stars,
And encircles the sinews of my poor and sullen heart,
Yet sadness shall not seize me when thou art sat beside me,
Singing thy sweet love-songs from the ancient lands afar.

And though this be a war-torn age, I trust thou shalt prevail,
And destroy the Dogs of Reason in the thrall of Why-Because!
O My sweet and lovely sister, sing thou the paeons of desire,
And amend a thousand sullen Aeons with a song upon the lyre.

          [roga] Erta na hekau!
                    Erta na hekau!
                    Erta na hekau!

Oratiuncula -

I greet thee, my Infernal Rose! Thou art my darkling Sister who
didst bear the Sistrum of Aset and of Hat-hoor, for truly thou
art She: then, as now, and ever eternally. Thou art Truth, and
Wisdom and the Understanding of all things. Thou art the sister
and spouse of the undead Asar, and in Mystery art thou also the
lover of Thoth.

CONJURATIO:

[Thou shalt arise from thy throne and thou shalt take up a dance
of thine own devising. Thou shalt address Our Lady with the
attitude of joyful comradeship, she as the Scarlet Woman or
Sabbatic Queen, and thou as the Beast or the Sabbatic
Man-in-Black. Call thou the sabbat, Feast of Friends].

Carmen - [vibra] The 7th Enochian Call

[canto]=20

O Babalon, come! Come dance with me! Dance me a dance of
victory! War in heaven hath set me free! This blissful night of
eternity! Come share this strange soliloquy and dance with
sinuous harlotry; Sabbatic wine has surged in me and spiced my
loins with devilry.

O Babalon, sing! Sing me a song! Sing a song of Scarlet
Whoredom! Witch-moonrise, the shadows long, the pipes of Pan
begin to hum, The Sabbat Queen has just begun, to mark the beat
of voudoo drum, Light the fire, and strike the gong! Now the
Bassarids shall come.

O Babalon, Babalon, Strike me dumb! I have the rage of devildom,
Hear me call and hear me come; lighting incense of resinous gum!
My mind begins to froth and thrum, with this pounding of the
drum. O Babalon! I hear thee come; lured by the Light of Satan's
Sun!

[vibra]

Ilasa Babalond, soba toant ta talho gosa tafaa; Zodacare od
Zodameranu! BABALON, BABALON, BABALON!

[O thou Harlot, whose Love is like a Chalice of strange drugs;
Move and Appear! BABALON, BABALON, BABALON!]

Oratiuncula -

Thou art full of Whoredom and the grapes of thine harlotries hath
fermented an intoxicating wine. I see thee as thou art,
shamelessly splayed upon the perfumed divans of a purple
palaquin. Thy thighs are ruddy with the vigour of a thousand
thrusts of a lover's ardour, and Beastly fangs hath left their
mark upon thy breasts.

Thou bearest the Cup of Abominations which thou hast filled with
the Blood of thine paramours; and that venomous vessel
containeth the Soma of delight which hath been wrought with thee.
Thou art drunk upon the Blood and the Seed of Saints and Sinners,
and thou art ever lustful for a hundred thousand feasts of flesh
and a million blissful banquets of delirious delight.

[Deliver thou the Sign of Mulier]

CARMEN AMORIS:

[Thou shalt fall down and assume the asana called shava (Shiva in
the 'flower-strewn Yoni' of the smashanam) and prepare to receive
thy Goddess in the fullness of her passion and love.]

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Thou art my Sangraal, the Philosopher's Stone (ABN), the Fountain
of Living Waters, the Molten Sea of Bronze; also art thou the
'Pearl beyond price', and the potable gold, the aqua vitae, and
the Universal Solvent. Thou art the Fire of the Philosophers;
yea, and their Water also! Thou art the Cauldron of Keridwen and
the Jar of Pandora - the All-Giver.

I love thee more than Life and I would destroy a thousand worlds
at thy command. To attain thee I would plunge the World into
Eternal darkness and for a single kiss of thine would I take a
dagger to mine own Black Heart! I love thee, my Ayesha Allayli,
and worship thee with my Guph, Nephesh, and Ruach - my Chiah is
thine and my Yechidah is ever fixed upon thee, as a Star is fixed
upon its orbid.

Tear out mine heart and burn it as an incense unto thee, that the
aroma of my love may give thee ecstasy upon ecstasy. I am thy
Slave and thy Master; thou art Worshipped and Abhorred. Has the
world ever known a love so deadly as ours? Thou art the Matter
and I the Antimatter, and in the bliss of our union a Universe is
extinguished in the Night of Pan! We are the deadliest, we Two;
and the world has reason to shiver. On my own I am deadly to
touch, yet with thee am I the Lord of Har Megiddo and Our venom
shall consume the very heart of Time.

Cans't thou smell the sweet aromas which billoweth from the
charnel houses of the Aeon of Silence?

Death, O Death - 'tis a beautiful song upon thy lips! Kill me, O
my Belov=8Ad! Deliver thou the Serpent Kiss of Death! Then
gather thou m= y stricken flesh and drinkest thou my blood and
consumeth thou my flesh and wear thou my skin as a coat of fur,
to celebrate thine Victory!

Wreck terrible Death! Garrot me with raven tresses from thine
hair! Burn me with kisses and reduce my soul to fine ash that
shall make thy wine all the sweeter! Gouge out mine eyes, and
bite off my tongue as thou delivereth sweet kisses.

And when I am dead, truly and utterly consumed, shall I not be
buried in thy Womb? Wilt thou give me life in thy Basilisk
Abode, that I might be reborn and commit incestuous fornication
with thee, my Mother and my Love? Yea, thou art my Mother, my
Sister and my Lover; no other woman has existed before thee, and
all women are merely illusory shadows of Thee!

I am the Corpse and thou art the Life, my Golden Lover. My love
is rapacious as it is sweet and tender, so beware shouldst I seek
to sink my teeth into thy flesh that I might taste the briney
carnality of thy blood. For I am a Beast with designs upon thy
flesh; wilt thou give me thy body to love and to gorge myself
upon?

We shall feed each other upon our own blood and flesh until we
are no more. Dids't thou expect my passion to be so bold or
bloody in its intent? Tell me that thou art not afeared now of
thy Lord, and that it is thine will also to rape and kill thine
own Belov=8Ad and to be the victim of hi= s carnal crimes.

When we have enjoyed the thrill of Victory and the torturous
Bliss of mutual conquest, shall I not tend my lover's wounds,
inflicted by the ignorance of mortal men; and shall she not
bathe the gashes of Lucifer's ancient torments? Yea, for the
Great Dragon shall even be tender and sweet in the arms of his
Belov=8Ad; and the Master of Chaos shall become as = a Slave to
Love Incarnate.

Thou art BABALON, and I.... I am Death, a Corpse nam=8Ad
Nekronos, th= e Mahashava; One thousand are my names, which
others dare not speak. In Arabia I am Iblis the Foul-One (Master
of all Ifrits), but I have many others and I am never far from
the Darkness within Men's hearts.

I have always been, but never was! I have no hope; Despair my
only coin; there is no Paradise awaiting me! My portion is nought
but a Lake of Fire and the Second Death - Laugh O mortal Men, but
my laughter began ere ye were born, for I know the whole comedy
of which ye know only the part - Shall I tell them? Yea, I shall
- my extinction is yours also, for ye cannot exist but through
me! I am Apophis who shall swallow the Universe whole and the
City of God never shall be builded!

See me - I am a Dragon and Red is the colour of my scales! The
word of my law is Tohu! I am the Guardian of the Pylon, called by
the fearful congregation 'Life and Death', but which is known
unto the wise as the Gate of the Sun. I am Dark for I have no
extension in Space or Time - I am ever a point between No-Yes,
LA-AL, NOX-LVX. My place is in neither: and as I do not exist, I
cannot be destroyed! So hear ye, Man of Earth - For I laugh
loudest and the longest; world without end! There shall be no
end, for the beginning never was!

But why should I wish the fear of Men? Let them know me as Thoth,
so that they be not afeared, for my counternance is more comely
in the Nemyss of Blue than in the Nigro-Cowl - and the wisdom
Tehuti didst hold in his bill is not as shunned as the Wisdom
Nechesh taught unto Chavvah in the Garden (ODN). Yea, even Odin
of the Northern tribes is given honour; and who but laughs at Old
Nick in these 'enlightened' times?!

Know me now? Yea, the Lord of the Double Wand of Power hath
spoken. I am the Force of Coph Nia: the Twin Abode of Adon, which
maketh the Book of the Law -I am the Power of the Wand and the
Cup united in ADVN: 'Ad shall fornicate with Nu and they shall
open the Eye of Shiva; but tell not the profane, and think not
upon it lest I should wither in thy rebuke for breaking the
Silence of the Aeon! I should not have spoken, yet the spell has
been now been Broken - let the Will be done...

Love is the law, love under will.

[Deliver thou the Sign of Vir]

EUCHARISTIA ET SACRIFICIUM

The following Mass may be performed supplimentary to the main
Ceremony and is intended to bring the Goddess into full
manifestation within the Temple (the bhakta's body). It is not
essential to perform this Mass every day, (though this is most
desirable). It should be celebrated at least once a week, but
more if possible.

The bhakta and Scarlet Woman should celebrate an Agape feast
together. If the bhakta has the assistance of his Scarlet Woman
(who, if present, should maintain a complete apotheosis of Our
Lady BABALON throughout), then let them together celebrate a
Feast of Flesh - She shall assume the goddess form of BABALON,
and the Bhakta shall assume the form of Shaitan (or some other
analogous form; e.g. Adon, Shiva, Thoth, Set, et.c.) The
resulting sacra hostia from the Agape should be mixed with the
prepared wine. If the bhakta is alone, he should Feast with the
invoked form of Our Lady; who shall be as Ayesha Allayli (Woman
of the Night; Lilithim; Succubus); and the Child of that Union
should be used as the sacra hostia. In solitary rites, the Mass
shall occur whilst in the Body of Light.

To consecrate and bless the Vinum Sabbati which you have made;
Babalon should trace the Aster Heptauge (Seven-rayed Star) over
the cup and she should raise the Grail holding the consecrated
Wine to the West and vibrate the words of power:

Babalon

[vibra] BABALON! MADIMI! VITRIOL! ThELEMA! AGAPE! BALANDROPhIZ!

[dice]

Take, drink, for this is the Wine of our Fornication. My Yoni,
the Mihrab of Babalon, shall ever be with you and around you;
world without end.

[She should then offer the Grail to Shaitan that he might receive
her sacrament to drink - he should be cognisant of the fact that
he is imbibing the Wine of Fornication which is the very essence
of all the loves of BABALON; after he has taken this sacrament he
should then receive the Grail from his Scarlet Woman and trace
the Star upon it and raise it to the East, vibrating the words of
power:

Shaitan

[vibra] ABRAHADABRA! COPH NIA! WH-IAO-WH! LAShTAL! DRAGOSANI!

[dice]

Take, drink, for this is the Wine of our Fornication. My Lingam,
the Minaret of Shaitan, shall ever be with you and within you;
world without end.

[He should then offer the Grail to the Scarlet Woman so that She
may drain the Vessel of its contents. She must do this as if She
was consuming the very life essence of her Belov=8Ad: who is
identical with Shaitan-Hadit].

Babalon

[dice] Unto this day thou hast no life which is not mine.
Verily thou art a Corpse for the life is MINE. Thou
art dead I tell thee and thou mayst not doubt it, for
I have claimed thee. I have supped full of thee and
drained thee to the dregs. Not one drop of blood shalt
thou keep back for thyself, for thou art mine utterly.

Though, thou didst conquer the world and everything in
it, thou shalt never conquer me! I laugh at the vain
struggles of my Belov=8Ad, resist me not! Submit unto me
and thou shalt have a Million Aeons of Bliss in the
bed of my ROSE. Be my Slave and thou shalt be the
Master of All, but resist me and thou shalt surely
perish as the Slave of All.

Shaitan

[dice]

I am thy Beautiful Son, whom thou hast resurrected by the power
of Love! Love is the law, love under will! So mote it be!

RELEGATIO

After the bhakta has performed his ceremonies, rituals and
sacraments and has communed with BABALON he must bid leave of his
Belov=8Ad and use the Banishing Hexagram of Venus whilst
visualising Her in the centre as She recedes back into the
Aethyrs. Send abundant blessings to Her as She leaves, that she
might visit you more speedily when you next conjure Her presence.

Ensure that the Temple is completely clear of all and any
'presences'; if necessary repeat the Banishing ritual (Star Ruby,
or L.B.R.Pentagram). Let the bhakta take mind to write his report
of the experience (and any information imparted unto him)
immediately after the banishings, in his magickal diary.

CONTINUATION

Although the Caerimonia et Ritus ad Venerationem Babalonis forms
the main daily observance, the bhakta should have his mind
permanently fixed upon Our Lady throughout the day. He should
seek every opportunity to commune with Her and to venerate Her,
reciting lines of the Carmina from the daily ceremony, or from
other poetry unto Babalon (i.e. such as those in the Book of
Babalon).

In every woman he meets the bhakta should look for that part
which reminds him most of his Belov=8Ad. He should seek out tales
of love which shal= l remind him ever of his Love of Babalon; and
he should be mindful to follow all the suggestions given in Liber
Astarte vel Berylli concerning further meditations and sadhanas
which shall serve to focus his entire attention upon Our Lady.

CONTINUATION: MANTRAYOGA

Devise a mantra according to the principles set forth in Liber
Astarte and in the chapter on Pranayama in Book Four: Mysticism
(see Magick p.15). The following mantra has been devised by
Nekronos for his own bhaktiyoga:

Ave Nostra Domina BABALON; Mater Meretricium.

Note that the metrical pattern (trochee-trochee-dactyl / dactyl /
trochee- trochee-dactyl) has the effect of emphasising the name
BABALON. This is an excellent mantra for constant recitation.
For specific periods of mantrayoga, the 'Name of Mystery' given
in the Book of Revelations (17:5), is most excellent for this
purpose. It is as follows:

"Babalwn 'h megalh, 'h mhthr twn pornwn, kai twn bdelygmatwn
ths ghs."

(Babalon the Great; Mother of Harlots and earth's
abominations)

[Note: 'w' represents the Greek letter 'omega'; the 'h'
represents 'eta'].

Japa upon this mantra is most pleasant, for it has a delightful
'sing- song' quality due to the distribution of the definite
article in the Greek language.

However, each bhakta may favour their own. I find the recitation
of the formula of DRAGOSANI - which is the name of the Incarnate
BABALON, and my Scarlet Woman - to be a powerful invocation,
particularly in the chant: "Dragosani, Dragosani; unto thee; all
unto thee!")

CONTINUATION: LECTIONS

Let the bhakta make a daily reading from the Book of Babalon and
meditate thereon, and also let him select passages from Liber Al
vel Legis bearing upon Our Lady (Chapter I has many such passages
which are worthy of attention). Let him select his reading
materials from the stock of Romantic literature, which might
inspire him to greater love for Babalon; being careful to select
material expressing only the highest and most exalted forms of
Romance (the work of the poets Swinburne and Baudelaire are
excellent examples) - the theme 'love unto death' is a good guide
to value when assessing the theme of love where Romantic
literature is concerned.

Neither should he neglect the ancient works, such as the Alf
Layla wa Layla ('Thousand and One Arabian Nights'), or Ovid's
Amores.

Imbibe deeply upon great words of torrid love, and entwine your
love of Babalon into each and every tale; turn every versicle
into a personal account of your own trist with your Belov=8Ad
BABALON: Our Lady of the Dark Chalice.

CONTINUATION: DHARMA

Let the bhakta use all his talents to deliver gifts of artistry
unto Our Lady. He may write poems or compose madrigals, or paint
fantastic images of Her. She may be captured in oils or pastels
or scultured in clay, wood or bronze. To every bhakta she grants
some talent with which the devotee might glorify her name. She is
the Eternal Muse who will suffuse the work of an artist-magician
with the life and verity which makes art truly great.

"Write and find ecstasy in writing" (AL,II:66)

"....Be not animal refine thy rapture! If thou drink, drink by
the eight and ninety rules of art: if thou love exceed by
delicacy; and if thou do aught joyous, let there be subtlety
     therein!" (AL,II:70)

     "But exceed! exceed!" (AL,II:71)

Babalon will delight in all excess of passion and desire, for she
whispers unto poets the aphorism of Hell: "The road of excess
leads to the palace of wisdom." She is the root of all artistic
greatness and we cannot create without her grace and blessing. If
one seeks to give art unto the world then let them perform
bhaktiyoga to Our Lady and their devotion shall be rewarded
beyond the greatest hopes. But beware for she demands ALL in
sacrifice! Thus, Death in the arms of BABALON is the beginning of
all great Art. Creation is a function of destruction: just as
Zero equals Two, by the medium of the Double Wand of Power.
