I ended that post with "--and guess who will PROFIT from such a BELIEF ..?"
I was referring, of course, to the elitist "technocrats" of Science, the
"how-to" men of the predatory political-economic Oligarchy who are
essentially Francis Bacon's heirs -- but
re-reading that in the context of the picture I'd painted of de-natured
drone-units in the techno-hive, a DIFFERENT "Cui bono?" came to mind -- one
that might interest the more "otherworldly" among our subscribers, who fret
about "reptoids" and the like ...
In one of Dr John Lilly's later books, more revealingly autobiographical, he
described a mindblowing "vision" he had one day -- perhaps the most horrific
of ALL his encounters with various "hyperdimensional" or "extraterrestrial"
entities occurring in the course of his explorations with LSD and Ketamine
while "de-programming" himself in a sensory
deprivation chamber. One day, says he, he caught a glimpse of what it was
that, from somewhere in deep space, had fixed its eye on Planet Earth and
Homo sapiens long ago and had decided to intervene in our evolution. He
described the covetous meddler from Beyond as a "solid-state entity,"
representing an extraterrestrial form of intelligence and power not only
inhuman but *INORGANIC* in nature ... "It" regarded the physical resources
of the planet as "food," and all carbon-based LIFE --whether human, animal,
or vegetable-- as something to be "digested," transformed into a kind of
"radiation" it could absorb, through its destruction. Toward that end, the
reasoning here goes, "It"
"domesticated" human beings and "bred" them to the point of overpopulation,
resulting in our historic orgies of mass-murder and genocide-- so that "It"
could "consume" the "radiation" that was released in abundance by living
organisms in their death-throes-- and inbetween, it directed all cultural
enterprises toward systematically, progressively "cannibalizing" the
ecosphere and the planet's natural resources -- so that "It" could
obtain an analogous "raw material" from this conversion of planetary "mass"
into an "energy" which it apparently needed to support its INORGANIC
"metabolic functions."
In short, "It" has aimed for millennia now at the ultimate DESTRUCTION of
everything ORGANIC on Planet Earth --chiefly organic LIFE-- until nothing but
a cold skeleton of metallic ores and a radioactive cloud of ionized elements
remained. Billions of years of our planet's evolution erased to sate the
appetite of an extraterrestrial parasite or virus.
The history of our world would end not with a bang, nor a whimper, but with a
BURP.
Sobering "star's eye" view of our planet, no? So, I offer this as a kind of
counterpoint to
the rosier conjectures of others about the "quickening" or "rapture" coming
at Endtime, when the Annunaki who created us return to "harvest" the fruits
of their experiment (or the extragalactic lab techs from Zeta reticuli give
our little Petri dish a good cleaning) ..
Not an uncommon nightmare vision --Happy Hallowe'en, by the way!-- of the
(possibly) true position of man on earth vis-a-vis "superior intelligences"
in the greater universe.
Sufi-inspired teacher Gurdjieff suggested as much in saying sagely, but
darkly, "Man is food for 'the moon,' " indicating some "higher" realm that,
for us, just signifies DEATH
and could be perceived only as the rabbit perceives the wolf higher on the
food-chain.
Colin Wilson has dramatized a similar vision in works of fiction --in a whole
"series" on this subject-- cinematically represented by "Lifeforce," although
he has ALSO written a SERIOUS (?) essay arguing this possibility, imbedded in
one of those "sci-fi" novels. (In fact, Wilson takes Sitchin's OPTIMISM
about "Nibiru" and stands it on its head ...)
Naked apes with a capacity for speech may just be a delicacy on someone's
menu.
