Jack Parsons and Operation Paperclip
In the Pentagon, Assistant Secretary of War John J.
McCloy, formerly a Wall Street attorney, used his authority to
intervene in the executions of convicted Nazi war criminals.
McCloy arranged to have Klaus Barbie sheltered from prosecution
by the 970th Counter-Intelligence Corps at Oberamergau. His
interest in the Nazis was obvious: McCloy represented Standard
Oil and Chase Manhattan, both high-handed investors in Nazi
Germany. Before the war, McCloy had been a legal adviser to I.G.
Farben, the German chemical conglomerate that financially hoisted
many in the Hitler regime to power and prospered by Jewish slave
labor at Auschwitz and elsehwere.
After the fall of Berlin, the Allies launched "Operation
Lusty" to gather scientific papers, blueprints and experimental
models hidden away in abandoned mines, ancient castles, caves and
vaults buried throughout occupied Europe. The confiscation of
German scientific files and prototypes was the chore of Allied
"T-Forces," OSS and military operatives assisted by "Paperclip"
personnel, playing escort to the Nazi thirst for bloodshed. In
his review of Nazi technology, Colonel Donald Putt, assistant
commanding officer of the Allied Technical Information Service
(soon to serve in Operation Paperclip with a promotion to Lt.
General), stated in July 1946 that fleeing German scientists had
left behind, at Peenemunde, Wiener Neustadt (home of the famed
Nazi Foo Fighters) and elsewhere, prototypical marvels of future
air warfare.
After the occupation, Colonel Putt toured the
once-bustling R&D complex at Volkenrode. Kamikaze journalist Tom
Bower reported in 1987 that Putt was "amazed." Strolling though
the Nazi laboratories, the colonel "realized he was in the midst
of [the] most magnificent and lavish research facility ever
constructed. The sheer abundance and extravagance of the
instruments, subsidiary tools and testing equipment were
awe-inspiring."
Theodore von Karmen, an American scientific adviser to
the Air Force, was also struck by the show of German technical
su-periority. He was one of a small circle of military officials
who, Tom Bower reports, "forged the wartime marriage between the
military and the scientists." Von Karmen found employment after
the war at Cal Tech, where he worked closely with Jack Parsons,
the head of the Agape Lodge of the Ordo Templis Orientis
(OTO), the occult lodge in Pasadena.
A publicity release from Kelly Air Force Base touts
Karman and Putt as originators of "a program to bring hundreds of
Germany's best scientists and technicians to the United States."
Colonel Putt was a founder of the Air Force Scientific
and Technical Intelligence Division. He was the deputy commanding
general for intelligence in the Air Technical Service after the
war. In 1995, the colonel was inducted into the Air Intelligence
Agency's "Hall of Honor."

I am looking for information concerning Jack Parsons and L. Ron
Hubbard.
I am looking for any sources other than "Jack Parsons and the
Fall of Babalon." by Paul Rydeen. I do not have this book so do
not have the sources he used, although just from information from
the net I was able to compile the following: (would appreciate
any corrections/ additional sources/information:"

Jack Parsons was a rocket fuel chemist whose early efforts in
rocket engineering provided a fundamental building block for the
later N.A.S.A. experiments of the 1950's and 1960's. Parsons was
closely associated with the California Institute of Technology,
and in the late 1930's, helped pioneer the original scientific
military rocket program which later became N.A.S.A. known as the
Jep Propulsion Laboratory. Acting as the American counterparts
of what was to be the German Project Paperclip, most if not all
of the original JPL scientific team were members of mystic secret
societies, and that does not exclude Parsons.
Jack Parsons was born on October 2nd, 1914 in Los Angeles, and
was a child caught in the middle of a broken marriage. He
dedicated much of his childhood to isolation, absorbing knowledge
and drowning himself in strange delusions. Parsons, at one point,
learned that he was a descendant of a British HellFire Club
founder, and as a result possessed more of an open-mind in
regards to that which is hidden. At one point, Parsons came
across the teachings of Aleister Crowley, self-proclaimed
"antichrist 666," and member of several secret societies
including the egyptian-styled Golden Dawn, and the
deemed-"quasi-masonic" order of which he eventually rose as head
of, Ordo Templi Orientis. Parsons "senses were awakened," and he
joined Wilfred T. Smith's Agape Lodge of the O.T.O. as a
Probationer, 1* = 10*, of the A:. A:.
Present as a member of Parson's Agape lodge was Scientology
religion founder L. Ron Hubbard. Parsons had inherited a huge
mansion on South Orange Grove in Pasadena, which he and Hubbard
rendered a headquarters for the O.T.O., as well as an open house
to a host of bohemians and social outcasts. Drug-induced orgies
and black magic were present all about, and with every weekend
came fire ceremonies within which naked, pregnant women danced
nine times through large hoops engulfed in flames.
During his stint with secret societies, Parsons commuted
regularly between the O.T.O.'s Temples on Mount Palomar and
Pasadena in California. Mount Palomer became regarded by the
O.T.O. as the "sexual chakra of the Earth," for it lies north of
the thirty-third parallel.
On March 2nd, 1946, Parsons and Hubbard performed a ritual
designed to materialize "The Incubus," who was to be an elemental
"Moonchild" that was, according to Crowley, to be mightier than
all the kings of the earth. The two acknowledged that the atomic
bomb had opened a doorway between dimensions, and Parsons and
Hubbard set out to finish the portal of entry through which
unearthly souls would be able to transcend to the earthly planes.
Providing the world with a monumental paradigm shift which was to
facilitate all human consciousness, "Babalon Working" was
completely in place by 1947, and evidence that the plan had been
correctly implemented came with a short passing of time: Aleister
Crowley's 1947 death ; the 1947 discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls
; the alleged-UFO saucer crash of 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico ;
It was in 1947 that Israel became a nation state, the transistor
was invented, and the sound barrier was broken. With 1948 came
the discovery of LSD. Crowley successor Kenneth Grant wrote "The
[Babalon] Working began...just prior to the wave of unexplained
aerial phenomena now known as the 'Great Flying Saucer Flap.'
Parsons opened a door and something flew in."
