Interestingly I am hoping for a major catastrophe to bring civilization to
its knees. I don't really think it will happen though. However, that said,
I am a great admirer of al the technology that we have achieved over the last
hundreds of years. Like indoor plumbing, computers, electricity. It would
be most difficult to do without, at least from my point of view, but if that
is what it takes to bring about some new order then so be it.
