Groden and Harrison E. Livingstone, with an article by Col. They were all involved in the anti-Castro operations, which President Kennedy tried to control. But, from page 119, referring to the fact that certain key evidence was missing by the time the Warren Commission began its investigation (e.g., JFK's brain was missing, along with the pathology slides from his autopsy; all of the color photos taken of the interior of his chest -- which would've help determine the path of the bullets; the fact that Connally's clothing was laundered; and the fact that certain autopsy reports and drawings were also lost): "There is no conceivable way that mobsters Carlos Marcello, Santos Trafficante [godfather of the Tampa mob] or Jimmy Hoffa ... could have done all this alone or covered any of it up. Neither these Mafia bosses nor the men who work for them had ... access to the evidence." The CIA and the Mafia have been acting in concert with each other since the CIA's inception, and probably since the OSS's inception during WWII. But, as Solomon once wrote, "There's nothing new under the sun." In 1927, Mao Tse Tung advised that if and when the communists took control of China, it would be advisable for the government not to try and shut down the Triads (the Chinese Mafia), but rather to enter into a "symbiotic relationship" with them. "After all," Mao said, paraphrasing Christ, "He who is not against us is with us." Mao pointed out that, through the narcotics trade, the Triads were "poisoning the West." To this day the government of the Peoples Republic not only tolerates the Triads, it gives them military protection at times. And that protection is not without its own financial rewards. That is believed to be one of the sources of the money contributed by certain high-ranking Red Chinese military personnel to the Clinton-Gore '96 Re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee, through the efforts of Charles Yah Lin "Charlie" Trie, and Johnny Chung, themselves former Triad members. So, it should come as no surprise that the Mafia and certain segments of the federal government -- especially the CIA, which has relied on drug trafficking and money laundering to fund covert ops worldwide for years -- would be working together.
