I don't think that's related to the impeachment. Petroleum
prices are not moved by many things. Supply, demand, war.
National politics, even of the United States, is irrelevant.
All major politicians in the advanced countries are pro oil.
They have to be.
The Republicans are the Big Oil party.

Yes, I believe it is. The world was awash in oil. It took
a long time to pump the world market that full, and it
takes a long time to dry it up. The producers of OPEC simply
decided to cut back production because they weren't making
much money, and were depleting their own sources.

See above.

So are you proposing that all those different countries in
OPEC intentionaly lost money in order to save Clinton's
sorry ass? If this is what you mean, then I don't buy it.

The President has almost nothing to do with the economy.
If the economy is good they take credit for it. If it's
not, they tell you the truth and shift the blame to a rival
or an enemy.

Sorry, Congress didn't let him off the hook. The Senate did.
Here's why. Even though they couldn't stand him they could
not allow the removal of a President for something they all do
because it could also happen to their guy when a Republican
wins the office.
The American Presidency is TOO EXPENSIVE to buy to let any
group, even Congress, push out a particular elite's front
man.
The Senate did what the Founding Finaglers intended them to
do. Protect the monopoly of the Rich over the government and
maintain the status quo.

No it was not. The fix was in before the Senate trial started.
Two days before the beginning of the Senate trial James Carville
went to Israel to get the government there out of the hands of
Netanyahu who was no longer playing ball with the NWO's plan for
the Mid East, and into the hands of Labor who has always been an
American puppet. Carville went to organize Barak's campaign.
James ( the snake ) Carville is Clinton's # 1 strategist and spin
doctor. There is NO WAY that Carville would have left Clinton to
face a real trial. The fix was in and all the players knew it.
The sham we saw on television was just for show so the stupid,
stupid public could avoid the fact that the Corporate and Financial
Elites are not bound by law or the Constitution.
This had nothing to do with oil.
