The New Haven Panthers were charged with a murder that it later turned out
had been committed by an undercover agent assisted by a paid informer.
Panther founder Bobby Seale was charged with conspiracy and dragged from
Oakland CA to New Haven to stand trial. It was an obvious attempted
lynching. I helped organize the demo against it. 350,000 people showed up
on the New Haven Green, across the street from the court house. The pigs
took the hint and backed down.
Read up. Then talk. That way you don't look like a fool.
