The virus did NOT come from the CTRL list - it came from a hidden source. Same thing happened to me about six months ago. The address "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is faked (spoofed). Note that "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is not the address you receive your other list messages from -- and certainly, the "owner" of the CTRL list is not busy sending viruses directly to you with his address on them. The only possible way to trace the message is to look at the original message header - and /or contact your ISP. Better yet, just keep your virus scanner updated.
