Could the American drug war be a political devise designed to control
Americans, deny their constitutional rights, legalize property seizures,
develop profits, power, and ongoing security for the DEA, judges, lawyers,
police, jailers, jail builders, and the like?? Does our drug war look like
prohibition did?? Is it possible that Americans and supplying countries
might fare better if the "money" was taken out of the drug industry, drugs
were decriminalized, drug users were treated with education, medication, and
jobs that elitists are sending offshore to enhance corporate profit?? Could
drugs could be controlled the same as alcohol and tobacco are now? Could
constitutional rights then be restored to working Americans? Is there a
better use for funds now used for lifetime jailing of nearly 2 million
non-violent prisoners?? And, could the unemployed enforcement personnel
find productive private sector employment??
