The American war on drugs exists for one purpose and one only: to ensure
maximum profits for the producers and distributors of drugs. As always,
follow the money, right into the pockets of the very politicans who are most
vicious in their demands to "eradicate" drug trafficking. Everything else is
an incidental side effect.
