LOL! Like most of the research of the John Birch Society, this is laughable.
David J. Saposs, was an anti-Communist on the "right-wing" of the Socialist
Party, U.S.A. of Norman Thomas. BTW, Thomas as shown in a new book, "The
Cultural Cold War:The CIA and the World of Arts and Letters, " by Frances
Saunder, published by the New Press, 29.95 hb.(the book focuses on the
Partisan Review crowd and the anti-communist Congress for Cultural Freedom,
and other characters like Jay Lovestone and Irving Brown of the AFL-CIO in
supporting roles).

P.S. Well documented works like the ones in the Yale University Press
series, "Anals of Communism, " like the new volume, "The Road to Terror:
Stalin and the Self-Destruction of the Bolsheviks, 1932-1939 edited by
J. Arch Getty and Oleg V. Naumov, are well regarded. The blatherings of a
retreaded Joseph Welch are a joke.
