I heard this stupid comment also. Let's face it, kiddies, it wasn't Bill
Clinton who tried to give our entire US population the details of his sex
life. It was the Republican Congress, abetted by every member of the media
who happened to be infuriated by what had happened to that "famous friend of
television and print journalists
," Mr. Billy Dale. Take away their perks, and our media become fierce as
tigers. I just wish they were so angered when our rights are stripped away,
but they hardly seem to notice. I'm always amazed at what shames Americans.
If Clinton does it, it's horrific. If Mr. Hyde does it, it's a youthful
indiscretion; if Mr. Giuliani does it; it's just a family problem. If Nutie
does it; it's just grounds for the divorce he wants anyway. Kennedy and
Johnson (both who baptised the sacred Oval Office) were just high spirited.
Anyway, Broder's an idiot. I'm already embarassed by Dubya, and he's just
the official candidate of the Republican Party. He'll be a real winner at an
international conference. He'll need someone to translate his blabber into
English. And I don't know anything about his sexual preferences, but he
treats his wife as if she were a telephone pole standing there.
