I'm baa-ack! I have been away for about a month and shall assume I was
greatly missed by one and all.
I have a friend who is the widow of a career veteran. She is part of a group
of veterans that I think are Airborne something or other. They had planned
to march and protest the treatment of veterans by the govt during the
convention. They had been planning this for months. She purchased a
non-refundable ticket so confident was she. Well, they were not allowed to
assemble, march, protest nor even gather anywhere publically during the
convention. She says they will file suit as a group against the City of
Philadelphia.
Anything can be justified under the "terrorist" threat. Perhaps the same
plans will apply to the Democratic Convention, just change the locations,
etc. I think the Republican one will receive more attention as the "word on
the street" has been for sometime that GW is the heir apparent.
