brazen act by Sir George, Regent of Texas.
"He was honored by the Kuwaiti sheiks after the war, and his picture hangs in
their palaces. He visited there in 1993 and again in 1996, shortly after his
son had been re-elected Governor of Texas and was considering a bid for the
Presidency. And he visited Kuwait twice in the past two years. The first visit
happened in November 1998, when he was greeted at the airport by Crown Prince
and Prime Minister Sheik Saad al-Abdullah al Sabah. The most recent visit took
place on January 15 of this year, according to Xinhua, a Chinese newspaper."

It's not just the Bushes and the oil companies that don't want such
cars. It's the public too. Regulators during the gotta regulate Clinton
era have been trying to force zero emissions vehicles down our throats
with the same gusto that they've been trying to force us out of our cars
completely and onto public transit since 1974. Hopefully Bush will end
this little bit of government stupidity and get the bureaucrats off the
backs of the automakers.

Wrong - Everyone I know wants these cars if they are affordable.
I am also sick of automobile emmisions. They make me want to puke. Emmision
standards need to be applied to semi trucks also and not just cars.
The technology exists to make an automobile that will run off the water from
a garden hose. In fact even sea water can be used because the canister which
holds the water is removeable and can be rinsed of it's salt deposits.
The only emmisions with this technology is water vapor and if a closed
system is invented this water can be continiously recirculated.
Everyone I know wants this kind of technology.

therefore fear change and that monie you spend at the pump is just pocket

Deregulation is the reason California now can not keep up with electrical
demands and is also the reason the prices for electricty there is
skyrocketing. Corporartions should not be allow to get too big. Mergers
should be blocked.

This is a good example of WHY I DON'T VOTE. Everything is crooked and
corrupt on ALL SIDES. Why can't one party take the ideals from both Liberals
and Conservatives that are just - moral - and right? Answer: SATAN rules
this world.
