Oh really? Why? It's not a separate issue. It's the issue. You just choose

They are an institution of society. And society ultimately decides everything
because they can. So, every where you the individual interact with society
you are at the disadvantage. Making up shinny ditties about freedom, and
rights are no different from stories about Santa Claus. You can have
freedom and rights, but only if the society you live in permits you to have
them.
I'm not advocating this. I'm just saying that this is political reality
and always has been, and most likely always will be because that is the
nature of being a social animal. Any social animal.

We are still not talking about the same thing. I'm talking about preventing
the manufacture, and sale of tobacco, and you are talking about someone
telling you you can't smoke. Go ahead and smoke your ass off. But if you sell
the shit you should go to jail.
This way you get to keep your illusion about having rights, and everyone else
has fewer sick and dead people to deal with.

Then it boils down to whether there are more people like you, or like me.
