There is a major difference between what a parent should decide for the welfare of a
child, and expecting
society to accept without proof any extraordinary allegation.
You obviously endorse forming lynch mobs to execute the accused based only on one
person's claim of what may
or may not have happened.
The rest of us are saying that that opens the door for all and sundry who have a gripe
against someone else to
claim that person is a child abuser, when in fact that is not the case. But because
people like you are
endorsing accepting these claims with no evidence to back them up, the result will be
that many innocent
people get falsely accused of being child molestors and will be the victims of public
lynch mobs.
In competition with someone for that next promotion? Just accuse them of being a
child molestor. Don't get
along with your next door neighbor? Accuse him of raping the neighborhood kids.
Tired of your lazy live-in
brother-in-law loafing around the house instead of getting a job and moving out?
Accuse him of inappropriate
conduct with your daughter. If you people have your way, just being accused will
result in the accused being
tarred-and-feathered and run out of town on a rail at best, or strung up on the
nearest tall tree at worst.
