People have been chewing coca leaves since the ice age. It has never been
shown to have done any of them any harm. Au contraire, it seem to be good
for them.
But the extract, especially when smoked, lowers the IQ dramatically. It's
not as harmful as alcohol, but I don't recommend it, either.
On the other hand, if it were cheap and legal, like alcohol, crime and
corruption would plummet, scores of billions of dollars would be saved,
hundreds of thousands of lives would no longer be ruined by prison, and
this sick, sick society could finally begin to heal.
If your curiousity is overwhelming you, and you simply must find out what
cocaine feels like, try this: drink a double cappacino, hold an ice cube
to your nose for five minutes, and burn a hundred dollar bill. It's close
enough.
