(1.) That depends on what the opinion or stand is.
(2.) But what really matters is who decides what is correct. Should the
government decide that it correct to take a stand in favor of the tenets
of one particular religion and not the tenets of another? I don't think
so. If you, personally, want to take that stand, that's your business.

This is already true. Anyone who has ever been convicted of using drugs
not approved of by the government is ineligible for financial aid.
