You got it half right.
Of course "the government" and its politcopath minions are the handservants
of the Power Elite. But it is a symbiotic relationship. One cannot exist without
the other. What you call "economics" is control over the economic structure
by the Power Elite through their exercise of Government Police Power -
a manipulation and distortion of the Market.
You will never eliminate control by The Elite if you do not eliminate the coercive
power of Government - no matter what you call the system. Fascism, Socialism,
Capitalism...all synomonyms for the Elite/Government combine.
What you fail to understand is that The Elite cannot exercise economic
power in a vacumn, they must have the power of the government available
to them in order to corrupt and control the economic structure. The
very concept of "corporation" is a total creation of government.
For example, do you think the drug company monopolies could exist without
the power of the FDA?
