-Caveat Lector-
Yes and may I just add that they did not kill Jesus
because of his political association but rather
because he refused to join in their political
association.
Jesus was not who they wanted Him to be. They wanted a
glorious messiah who would exalt their nation aboove
all others for good and not a babe born in a manger
that was more interested in living humbly and
constantly seeking to help others one person at a
time. Ultimately their plan to have Him killed matched
up with Heaven's plans to have Jesus killed as the
ultimate and final sacrifice needed before GOd to save
us from our sins. The Hebrew Day of Atonement had
pointed to this event and Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel
and many other prophets pointed to it quite
clearly--if one would take the time to check it out.
The Jews missed it and some are still looking for
their Messiah. Some believe that no God exists after
the Holocaust. And their are plenty of opinions and
beliefs inbetween.
So call Jesus what you want. If one must apply a
political title I prefer the one that is King, He
meets us where we are in our lives--politically and
all and He works with us from there. And I believe as
the OT and NT Bible fully prophesizes the King will
return one day to save us from a world of sin.

That being said, CTRLgives no endorsement to the validity of posts, and
always suggests to readers; be wary of what you read. CTRL gives no
