What was it Governor Ventura said? Organised religion is a crutch for the weak minded.
I don't want to get into a slanging match, but rest assured your children won't be
running into my children anytime soon as I don't have any and actively avoid spawning
any. If you think Jesus was the first person with a message of peace and love, then
you are remarkably ignorant of ancient history.

If you want to instruct your children morally or spiritually, don't you think you
would be better teaching them by example rather than using an abstract 'boogey man in
the clouds' who will hit them with lightning if they misbehave (which I'm sure is how
most Xtian children view their God) and which more intelligent children will find
rather silly?

If you want to debate this seriously, please email me off list. otherwise, why not
drop it? The only people who give a hoot about Jesus are already converted to either
Christianity or anti-Christianity. Forget about him and learn some real history, study
some other great men and women who left important lessons for mankind.
