Interesting to note that in Daniel (here we go with
the bible talk again) he prophesizes (after an angel
of the Lord helps him decipher the meaning of
Nebuchaddezar's (sp) dream of the statue) of the world
powers that would come to be starting I believe with
medio-persian empire and going all the way down to the
mixture of clay and iron feet (which is interpreted to
depict the fact that no one would ever be able to
unify Europe--a prophecy that has stood to this day
and according to the Bible will remain true until the
end of our time on this earth).
Many have tried (Hitler) and maybe this EU Superstate
thing is another attempt, but according to Scriptures
it will not be possible.
