Maybe the fact that she is ~SEVENTY PLUS YEARS OLD, and has
lived the "Hollywood scene" [in all of it's screwed up glory]
her ENTIRE life has something to do with it. All in all, she has
fared better than most in her situation, no?
I must say, tho, that I, too, was embarrassed for her on the King
show and at the awards...she was sort of like a fat/old version
of Farah Faucet in her infamous Letterman appearance:(
