I don't believe this is a conspiracy. There are a few idiots out there
who blame Marlin. And they ARE idiots. Tapping is, for better or worse,
part of racing. I've been spending a lot of time in one of the Dale
Earnhardt clubs, and several people have posted, reminding us that Dale
himself tapped a few cars in his lifetime, sometimes causing them to
crash. He wasn't known as the Intimidator because of his dark glasses,
you know.
