Well Tenorlove I have a picture of my daughter with a Bobby Rayhold,
something like that - a handsome man and he put his arm around my
daughter who is I might add a beautiful blonde and they both looked
pretty happy.....however, her boyfriend has driven these cars for years.
More for fun than anything but he knew some of the great ones including
the Petty kid just killed not too long ago.
Now talk about doom and gloom - they feel about this man as I did JFK
when he was gunned down in the streets of Dallas.
I do not watch these races, but happened to catch this one and saw this
car a black car do something I thought was stupid......reminded me of
the races when a horse would be blocked in and the rider sometimes would
take illegan chance to break out of it......it just didn;t look right.
But I turned it off not realizing I had witnessed such a terrible
accident.
This big men are still in mourning.....and then suddenly another picture
emerges.....racing - will they make racing into another World Wide
Wrestling and dishonor the sport? Life is cheap? This man caused an
accident taking a chance which is part of the game - but look at Jesse
Ventura (and that is not his real name) will they do unto politics what
they have done to sports>
Will the Olympics be turned into a free for all with bombings and
whacking skaters in legs to draw bigger audience?
So I once worked for a greata sports promoter - he asked me, to work for
him for some reason - but these guys, Buddy Rogers, Handsome John, Karol
Krauser, Killer Austin, Kato, Nature Boy, etc. and most are old or dead
now - the Sports Promotor who managed and owned the rinks, etc., wanted
no part of fixing fights......one day I saw joe Louis sitting there all
alone and ignored...refereeing matches.....what a place, but wrestling
was alwys big money and nobody wants to watch a fair fight anymore?
It is all selling people like pound of ground round......maybe Nascar
had a lesson here - maybe some of these guys used to ride in those
little bumper cars, but then nobody got hurt in thoses.
And these names they have given to each othere?
To each his own, I never watch the stuff anyway just happened to get a
glimpse of something I thought was stupid for a black car caused a crash
it looked like to me, because the driver did a stupid thing......going
180 mph.
They should join your local police who now and then, think hey are Rambo
and Starkey and Hutch all rolled in one - but then comes the real world.
So these big grown men still crying in their beer about this legend of a
driver - but the picture is now planted firmly in their minds......get
the picture?
Is it worth it the big bucks they make? Did this man few like a
supernatural being to take such a chance?
I do not think I would have liked him personally......so back to the
Roman Colliseum?
