-Caveat Lector- Ironically, just in case you anti-American types have lost your bearings a little, Tom Cruise played in a MOVIE!! It wasn't REAL! It wasn't meant to inspire a young, reckless Chinese jet jockey!! Hard not to admire the fighter's skill??? Are you all oblivious?? His fabulous and admirable SKILL is what got his airplane cut in half, sent him to his death, nearly caused the deaths of 24 US Navy fliers who WERE NOT buzzing anyone, and sent his poor grieving widow to the hospital, prostrate with grief over the loss of such a SKILLED pilot. Only an idiot would fly so close to a larger aircraft while pointing to a piece of paper, (and make multiple hand gestures.) What part of his pilot training would have covered THAT nonsense? Had this SKILL resulted in the deaths of all aboard the EB-3, would the ever honest and forthcoming Chinese have admitted the true cause of the "accident", or would they have remained as silent as they did when snet 15 to 20 mayday distress calls, which every CIVILIZED nation in the world would have heeded and answered? The idea WAS NOT to prove that the pilot was reckless, but rather to demonstrate the evidence of the pilot's reckless behavior with a video of it, wherein he proved it himself. I wonder if they will re-think the practice of "thumping?"
