Well, , a REAL environmentalist would know that dams impede
the progress of fish and other wildlife. But, FYI, TVA has
many fossil fuel plants which burn things like coal. They are
usually called 'So and so Steam Plant' like Widow's Creek
Steam Plant. Now fossil fuel, when it burns, produces lots of
contamination, both into the atmosphere and in the coke and
ash remains. And even will all of this, we pay very high
rates for electricity. And TVA also operates several nuclear
power plants. Sequoia comes to mind and there are a couple of
others.
