It is said Paul Poundstone is not laughing now; she is one of the Gay Priders who waves their flag - she once reported that before she went into any state she checked out their sodomy laws. Evidently she forgot California......she has yet to go to trial, but this is what makes me sick. A Mother went to jail because it was said her children had been abused and the kids hid in the house with their 27 dogs.....most of the dogs were little puppies.....this woman no doubt will not sue and I hope she ends up a millionaire. Then we have this woman with 5 kids who just murdered them all and you would think she is being charged with Post Partum Depression. Her husband now cries before the cameras and puts on a good show at the funeral. This woman on Haldol - Haldol is for people who are aggressive and could be dangerous. It ws reported now her house was a pig stye.....and I believe when she murdered her children, she was striking out at the scapegoats......it ws her husband she hated. She walked around like a zombie - symptom of certain drugs. She attempted suicide twice and it is too bad, at that point she diid not succeed...the children should have been removed from the home for safe keeping. We have Rosie O'Donnell with all those kids and her lesbian lover in same house; one little kid had front teeth knocked out was only 2 or 3, and nose hurt in accident - wondered why little Rosie said oh that child is so accident prone.....then screams in the night brough police to her house on several occaions but she told police I am Rosie O'Donnell and I am a foster mother Rosie and this Paula Poundstone both appear on Sesame Street and Paul is assoiated with Gay Pride and Disney Land? What are we doing to our children? Is Paula Poundstone happy now - we are turning our children over to people like this? Little Michael Jackson? Remember his prancing with the children? 5 dead children living in a pig stye prior to their deaths and a crying husband.....I feel no pity for him, for it is obvious that woman hated him so much, she took it out on her kids. Well Rosie and Paula no doubt are on government payroll promoting sodomy?� @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Comedian charged with child endangerment LOS ANGELES, June 28 - Stand-up comedian Paula Poundstone was arrested and charged with child endangerment and committing a lewd act on a young girl, the district attorney's office said. �� No arraignment had been set early Thursday, a spokesman for the district attorney said. Poundstone, 41, was charged with three counts of committing a lewd act on a girl under the age of 14 on May 19 and June 6, as well as endangering two other girls and two boys on June 6, Deputy District Attorney Gina Satriano said in a statement. She could face a maximum of 13 years and four months in prison if convicted of all charges. Poundstone was arrested Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. in Malibu by Santa Monica police, and released about four hours later after posting $200,000 bail. "I have faith that the truth is the right thing," was the only statement a haggard-looking Poundstone made to reporters after leaving jail. Satriano said no further details on Poundstone's arrest would be released by the District Attorney's office. Poundstone's manager maintains the comedian is innocent. "I know Paula Poundstone well enough to know these charges are 100 percent incorrect," Bonnie Burns said in a statement Wednesday evening. "She has been an incredible parent, she's made huge sacrifices to see that children who weren't dealt the best cards in life were well taken care of and she's always shown herself to be completely honorable and full of integrity." A single mother of two, Poundstone has regularly taken in foster children. She has been a foster parent since 1993 through the Westside Children's Center. She adopted her two girls in 1997. Poundstone's lawyer, Steven Cron, criticized police for taking the entertainer into custody, saying his client had been aware of the investigation for some time and was cooperating with authorities. "They know where Paula has been and there was certainly no reason for them to go out and arrest her," he said. The brassy comic, known for her one-liners about politics and life in general, has been a frequent guest on late-night talk shows over the years and is a regular panelist on the syndicated game show "To Tell the Truth." She has won two Cable ACE awards for HBO specials, as well as an American Comedy Award in 1989 as the nation's best female standup comic. She provided backstage commentary to the 1993 Emmy Awards telecast, appeared on the pre- and post- shows for the 1994 Academy Awards and served as "official correspondent" for "The Tonight Show" during the 1992 presidential race. Poundstone is also a former contributing editor at Mother Jones magazine, where she wrote humor columns. � � �
