Fuhrman didn't 'revive' it...the case was in the works months before
Furhrman decided to write a book about it. The only thing Furhman did
was change the case from being something only of interest to those in
Connecticut and the NYC area, to something that became of national
interest...
And arguably the book is what lit the fire under the Greenwich PD and the
Connecticut State's Attorney office to more aggressively pursue Skakel...
