I believe the Connecticut courts ruled that he can be tried as an adult,
but his attorneys are fighting to have that ruling overturned.

Well. it's a big story in Connecticut, and every twist and turn gets
reported here...
What IS getting swept under the rug is the case against the mayor of
Waterbury, accused of pedophilia against 2 little black girls (which has
the black community in an uproar, as the mayor is white) and child
pornography...the other day the judge ruled that not only will the media
be barred from the courtroom, but that all transcripts of the proceedings
will be sealed. This judgement was granted due to the request of the
federal justice department, who are the ones prosecuting the case. Local
media is taking the judgement to court, in a bid to at least have the
transcripts released...
