Author Admits Gay Propaganda in Kids' Book

A new children's book featuring a spotted dog appears to tell a positive
story about learning to get along. But the homosexual author says he has a
hidden motive.

Spot appears to be the story of a little dog who lost his spots. He was
then rejected and thrown out of "Barksville." But the author of the book,
Todd Tuttle, who is homosexual, said it's really about being tolerant of
homosexuality.

Tuttle's goal is to get Spot into every library and school. He told a gay
publication the camouflage is necessary "if you want to get a book into the
hands of kids around the country."

Said Peter LaBarbera, with the Culture and Family Institute: "They're
setting kids up for a pro-homosexual message which they will later get,
probably in junior high or high school."

Noting that the book shows the sophistication of the homosexual activist
effort to reach America's children, LaBarbera argues that the basic
assumption of the book is false.

"People are not just born into a separate category," LaBarbera said.
"That's the myth that gay activists would like you to believe, but it's not
true. Hence, we see many people going both in and out of homosexuality."

Pro-family experts say parents should preemptively teach children to reject
the false tolerance Spot teaches.

"There was a time in America, a better time, when: We openly and
proudly expressed our love of God and country; we did not lock our
doors; our streets were safe to walk and drive; we honored our heroes;
we cherished our founders, their gifts, their sacrifices, their
courage, and their love of America; we sang 'The Star-Spangled
Banner'; we pledged allegiance to our beloved country; we respected
our system of laws and the Constitution; and we worked, raised
families and prayed together as one people under one flag. Is that
America gone forever?"
