And yet on both CNN and Fox News, as this thing was unfolding and being
broadcast live, both networks got people who live nearby on the phone,
and every single one of these neighbors reported hearing only 2 or 3
shots when the warrant was attempted to be served, not one reported even
hearing 'many shots', let alone 'hundreds of shots'...
>when agents tried to arrest him for allegedly impersonating an
>officer and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Well, if he was an ex-cop, then perhaps he wasn't actually impersonating
an officer. According to one of the neighbor's who was interviewed on
Fox yesterday, the suspect attended neighborhood parties and barbecues,
and apparently let the neighbors BELIEVE that he was a federal marshall,
but it was unclear whether he actually SAID he was or that somehow the
neighbors jumped to that conclusion.
According to this one neighbor, a couple of other neighbors became
suspicious that the suspect was actually a federal marshall, and they
made a couple of calls to determine whether he actually was as he
allegedly claimed (or he allowed them to believe)...and it was apparently
these calls that alerted the feds to the suspect...
Altho according to this neighbor, this all happened within the past 2 to
3 weeks, but according to one of the BATF spokemen who gave press
conferences yesterday, they actually had been investigating Beck for
about 3 MONTHS....
If that's true, then perhaps it was the calls from the neighbors that
prompted the BATF to finally act; or perhaps one of the neighbors
actually is an undercover agent, or an informant...

>Jake Kuredjian, 40, a 17-year veteran of the department, was shot to death

According to one of the neighbors, the deputy was shot as he RODE UP ON
HIS MOTORCYCLE. He apparently was NOT one of the officers actually
serving the warrant.
Which raises plenty of questions...if there were 2 people actually
serving the warrant -- presumably a BATF agent and a local cop -- why
would Beck shoot a local deputy pulling up on a motorcycle, and not shoot
the 2 people actually standing on his porch serving him the warrant?
Could the deputy in fact been the victim of 'friendly fire'? If so,
we'll never be told the actual truth...

Burglary of WHAT?
>Beck worked for the Arcadia Police Department for one year, but was fired

Why not? What does one have to do or not do to not pass probation?
And is one year the normal probationary period for a new hire on the
Arcadia PD? Or was Beck put on probation sometime AFTER the normal
new-hire probation period, and if so, what was he put on probation for?

Yeah. Sure. The hot teargas cannisters couldn't have possibly ignited
anything, especially the floating teargas 'dust'...
