The Salem Witch Trials came about because it was ruled 'spectral'
evidence could be admitted -- in other words, the girls could just SAY
they saw something -- a demon, a black crow, etc. -- without having to
provide actual PROOF...
In this case, this ex-lover of Condit's supposedly has some sort of
proof, at least something that has tweaked the interest of the FBI, who
want to interview her...
If what she has to offer is little more than 'spectral evidence', then it
should be ignored...
