What I have said is that if no named sources are available, then
judgement should be reserved regarding the credibility of a story. I
haven't changed from that stance.
It would seem that the FBI finds this woman's story credible enough to
interview her; if the FBI ever starts interviewing people who have
claimed to be abducted by outerspace aliens, I would grant those people a
modicum of credibility as much as I give this ex-lover's account of
Condit's strange behavior. But if there is no other evidence available,
then it is just one person's account.
It's when you have more and more of these people coming forward with
their accounts of their time with Condit, that you start seeing a darker
picture of the congressman's personality...
What this woman is providing is information to authorities which they can
then follow up on with Condit's workers, with people who this woman
claims also know of his 'dead body plans'...if it comes to nothing, then
we brush this babe off as someone who was just seeking her own 15 minutes
of fame...
