-Caveat Lector-

"Fund raiser" and "financier" seem to me to be euphemisms for drug money
launderer. When the news says bin Laden was trained in covert operations,
that means he learned how to reinvest drug profits into "legitimate"
enterprises like real estate, construction, and communications
infrastructure. That's why he's protected in his homeland; he helps create
jobs, roads, bridges, factories--all the things our government promises to
deliver to the American people. The battle is over who owns the poppy
fields and how to split up the profits. It's reminiscent of the turf wars
in Chicago at the peak of prohibition of alcohol.
