Southwest Asian heroin trafficking groups in the United States are highly cohesive and difficult to penetrate because they are based on ethnic, familial, religious, and tribal relationships. Southwest Asian heroin is distributed in the Northeast, particularly New York City; MidAtlantic cities, such as Baltimore and Washington, D.C.; certain West Coast cities, such as Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco; and some Midwestern cities, including Chicago and Detroit. Would sure be interesting to know the money trail, from the user back to the farmer. Anyone know if the poppy crop has been harvested? Maybe our Troops will be used in the harvest.
