As someone who at one time was being groomed by the Spiritualist Church to be one of their mediums, I can authoritatively state that the Spiritualists do NOT 'revere' Christ but view him as a prophet and wiseman...in this they are similar to Islam... The Spiritualists put Christ on the same level as Moses and St. Germain and the Fox sisters...in fact, they usually refer to 'the Christ Consciousness' or 'the Christ Spirit', and rarely refer to Christ as a historical, living man and NEVER refer to Christ as the Son of God...
