Since the crash of FLT 587, the FAA has been saying
in effect: "Gee...we don't know...we don't really
have a clue yet why this crash occurred. We don't
know why the vertical stabilizer fell off into the
water BEFORE THE ENGINES FELL OFF."
ALL OF THIS IS A LIE!
The French Aviation Authority notified the FAA
of this problem with the vertical stabilizer at least
17 months ago. The FAA has issued multiple
"Airworthiness Directives" with regard to the
problem. Now when an Airbus crashes, they pretend
they have no idea what the problem might be.
With the Airbus climbing under power, you instantly
have a severe control problem if the vertical stab
falls off....it's more than a loss of yaw-axis
control.
If the aircraft goes into a power-on spin, the
dynamic load forces can quickly exceed the G-Load
carrying capacity of the airframe.
At this point, things like the heavy engines and
even wings can come flying off.
This is what we saw with Flight 587.
Having said this - there is still the possibility
of sabatoge (bomb or missile). Several eyewitnesses
said they saw a "bright flash" and heard an
explosion and then saw the Airbus come apart in
the air.
We sure can't rule out terrorism...as the FBI did
within less than a day after the crash.
I'm just saying the FAA and NTSB are lying through
their teeth when they pretend not to know about
the long history of problems with the French Airbus.
