When Castro threw out the Mafia and confiscated the beach property of all the rich and famous who liked to go down to Havana to express their total lack of morality and to chuckle at young boys who offered themselves or their sisters for a lot less than the proverbial Yankee dollar, the military installation remained, although I understand the sailors based there grumbled that the gambling, prostitution and interesting sex shows that had all been so amusing were no longer available. All of Miami seems to be full of the very rich natives of Cuba who are militantly nostalgic for the "good old days."
