You know, I have a feeling that McKinney actually *has* the evidence, but
she is afraid to present it for any of a number of reasons. One fairly
paranoid, but not unrealistic, reason being that it might "suicide" her.
Another being that the evidence is similar, if not identical, to any of a
number of people's such as Mike Ruppert's, who has been smeared by the
mainstream media as being a "conspiracy nutjob." (That was a direct quote,
but can't remember where it came from - it was from a writer whose work was
syndicated on AlterNet, I do know that much, but not one of AlterNet's staff
writers.) If she presented similar evidence to Ruppert's, she'd probably be
smeared similarly. I think she's taking the "safe road" here and just
feigning innocence to get the ball rolling without appearing crazy ... even
if people here at CTRL (and maybe elsewhere) already think she's crazy in
other ways. But, seriously, why would she bring this up if she hadn't
already been studying this? All the loose ends lead to the same sources, so
I'm not convinced she hasn't done her homework on this - I would guess it's
a bluff on her part to claim she doesn't have evidence so she can make
others reveal it. If she reveals it, well, she'd probably be in the same
place Trafficant is now.

That's a good idea. But the poll is obviously not favoring her "view" that
"I'm not sure. Congress should investigate." In any event, I'm saving it
right after I send this email. As there are many automatic caching services
out there, including Google, this poll will likely be preserved somehow, but
I'll do that just in case.

No, I think that's a good thing. But I'm think McKinney is playing the same
game, albeit coyly. As you said, there is more than enough evidence, even
without us making a group effort, but, what the hell, why not? It would be
good to sift through and separate the wheat from the chaff, as it were, as
there are a lot of theories, and some good evidence, but there's a lot of
chaff mixed in with it.
