Conn. judge's opinion on the release of documents by the Bridgeport Diocese - In a written opinion released on June 12, Connecticut Superior Court Judge Robert F. McWeeny accused his state's judiciary of complicity in the Bridgeport diocese's efforts to keep documents concerning sexual abuse by clergy from the public view. ....The church's sexual abuse scandal has not been exposed by the courts.
