Antarctica Underground

For more than a year I have been writing about the
strange happenings on the Antarctic continent, in particular at Lake
Vostok. This lake, about the size of Lake Ontario, is about 2km below the
surface ice. It contains life forms that are not known anywhere else on
the planet and is at a relatively comfortable temperature of between 50
and 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Not bad considering the surface temperature is
about -60 degrees F. In 1998 NASA and JPL were involved in a scientific
operation to drill into and explore Lake Vostok. Their stated objective
was to train astronauts for future missions to the frozen moons of
Jupiter.
Does this sound plausible to you? First, no astronaut has
traveled beyond our Moon since the early 1970's. That’s thirty years,
folks. Secondly, while several unmanned craft have made it past Jupiter,
many haven't. For decades, NASA has defended not sending manned missions
to the much closer Mars because the distances involved were too
prohibitive. Mars, at its closest, is 56 million km from Earth. Simply, it
would take too long and they would need to take along too much payload
weight in food & water. Yet now they want us to believe that these
astronauts are being trained to go to Jupiter, which has a closest
distance from Earth of 590 million km. I don't think so. Yet, it has been
established that astronauts, including former Apollo astronaut Jim Lovell,
were present at Lake Vostok. So, what were they doing there? What were
they training for, really? Let’s leave this alone for a minute.
In
February, 2001, all drilling and scientific work at Lake Vostok was
abruptly ceased. NASA and JPL stated that they were vacating the area and
abandoning their research. They just up and walked away from billions of
dollars worth of equipment. Why? Because they were concerned about
damaging the natural environment. Hmmm. Since when has NASA had a ‘Green’
conscience? However, they didn't leave the base unattended. As they walked
out, the NSA walked in. What for - to feed the penguins?
Many
other strange events happened around the same time. Extraordinary and
unprecedented emergency airlifts were made to evacuate ill personnel
during the dead of the six-month winter. Scientists discovered massive
magnetic anomalies beneath the ice at Lake Vostok. Three of those same
scientists died in 'accidents' before they could leave Antarctica. Another
technician apparently "became insane" and was evacuated to New Zealand.
This is after the hitherto lucid, rationally-minded man publicly broadcast
news of large UFO's at McMurdo Base.
Let's get back to Mars. NASA
recently confirmed what Richard Hoagland has been saying for years, that
there is water beneath the Martian surface at its poles. Hoagland further
suggests that ancient civilizations existed on Mars and created artifacts,
such as pyramids and the Sphinx-like face at Cydonia. For more
information, I suggest you check out Hoagland's excellent site
www.enterprisemission.com. Anyway, it seems that Hoagland has been right
all along. Now NASA, the European Space agency, and the government of
China have all announced plans to send manned missions to Mars very soon.
It's going to get very crowded up there.
Still with Mars, its two
moons, Phobos and Deimos, have gone missing. No kidding. There have been
no verified sightings of either since 1998. How do you lose a moon or two?
I don't know. Now, Phobos itself warrants great investigation, mainly
because it revolves (or did) around Mars in a counter direction to Deimos
and all the other bodies in the solar system. Secondly, it appears to be
hollow. There was speculation that this was an artificial object, not a
natural moon. Thirdly, when a Russian probe was sent up to explore it, the
probe satellite was destroyed, and the last photo image it sent back was
of a beam of light, or something, coming straight at it from the surface
of Phobos. Now Phobos and Deimos are not where they should be.
While Mars has lost its moons, Jupiter has gained some. Hawaiian
astronomers announced last month that they had discovered eleven new moons
around Jupiter. Where the beejesus did these come from? I mean, these are
big moons, big enough to have been seen before. You can't tell me that
they were always lined up neatly on the other side in some kind of cosmic
'hide 'n seek' game. At the same time, amateur astronomers all over the
world have been reporting sightings of very large objects above the
surface of our Moon. Whole flotillas of objects up to 50km in diameter.
Meanwhile, Antarctica is melting rapidly.
What happened at
Lake Vostok last year? Did they actually succeed in drilling through the
surface ice? What did they find? Here's a theory, and just that, sheer
supposition. What if there was an ancient civilization on Mars with the
technology to send manned missions to Earth. As Mars is much colder than
Earth, they would set up base on the place most like their own environment
- Antarctica or the North Pole. The North Pole, however, is unsuitable
because it is not a land mass, only floating ice. For whatever reason,
they liked it here and decided to stay, establishing a base which exists
today. We already know that Lake Vostok contains an abundance of strange
life forms and a constant, pleasant temperature. Perhaps this heating is
generated naturally by volcanic seams. Maybe the 'visitors' brought their
own means of nuclear power generation. Maybe they didn't like being
disturbed by NASA. Maybe their mates are coming to help them out.
Have you noticed that the world has taken absolutely no notice of
these events lately? With the threat of war in Pakistan, war in Israel,
Enron, WorldCom, 911, and the War on Terror, who has time for trivia like
this? Some things are real and some things are distractions. What I have
