Killing babies is evil. However the reason that Israeli babies die is because Israeli leaders are willing to sacrifice babies in order to continue to oppress, colonize, and occupy other people's land. No sacrifice (for others) is too great for these 'Greater Israel' fanatics. Aren't some dead Jewish babies worth the price so zealots from Brooklyn can live in their subsidized West Bank suburban housing? Did Jews bemoan the death of bombed German babies in WWII? Did Black South Africans bemoan the death of white South African babies during the anti-apartheid resistance?
