Updated to consider x/y, and arbitrarily[0] chose 4096x4096 as a floor
to keep it from getting really silly on giant desktop sizes.
[0] I mean, obviously not arbitrarily. It's a power of 2, so you
_know_ it was chosen for Good And Proper reasons, and isn't just a
random number that some joker pulled out of his hat...
