It is nothing to do with timing. It doesn't matter when I start up an
xterm, or how quickly, or how loaded the machine is, ALL xterms, and
every other window that has no defined geometry placement, are all
placed at +50+32

I have been abusing not only ctwm from when it first appears, but
X windows itself since X windows version 10.
