Are there any experienced users here who could adapt the ctwm port in

I haven't even got the modular Xorg to work and I have tried on three different arches (x86 ppc sparc). I really wouldn't spend to much thought yet on the modular Xorg in Gentoo, it's still masked outover that is's marked as unstable. There are ebuilds that should be automatically emerge and still don't, you need to do that manually after you have installed the modular Xorg. Something that has surprised me is that Gentoo don't give people the option to use the monolithic Xorg 6.9.

Just that ctwm is on the list, don't really mean much IMHO, it most likely just a dependency that is missing to some libX* and I think if you are sure you have all needed things installed, you will be able to emerge ctwm without any problems with -nodeps option.
